The ASC is excited to announce that Town of Ajax has decided to open the community center starting Sept 14th, 2020 and have allocated the ice to the top user groups for now.
Registration will open August 31st at 9am. Schedule will be posted shortly.
All sessions will be running with a maximum of 20 skaters or less with the exception of canskate/elite which will have a maximum of 21 skaters. This will allow for appropriate social distancing to take place as well as meet the guidelines of Skate Ontario and the Town of Ajax.
We will be returning Pad 3 of the arena and not our usual Pad 2 due to the Town only opening Pad 3, 4 and the village at this time.
The Fall session will run from Sept 15th until October 30th. This decision has been made in order to allow for changes to numbers or sessions moving forward. We would love to return to all our regular programs and are looking forward to a time when this can happen.
Please read the section on Covid-19 and the protocols will be but into place for the Fall session and make note that a waiver will need to be signed upon registration and that a health questionaire will be asked each and every time you come to the arena.
Please read the section of the Webpage regarding which level your child should be registering for and reach out to your private coach if you have any concerns about which level you should be in. If you register for the wrong level you will be removed and may not be able to be placed in the appropriate level if that session is full.
For now there will not be any PreCanskate sessions due to the current no touch policy that is in place by Skate Canada/Ontario and the Town of Ajax. Due to limited ice time the CanSkate Elite program will paired with the CanSkate and is open to those that have COMPLETED stage 1 badge (can get up on their own, move forward and backward without assistance), any questions regarding this can be directed to the ajaxskatingclub.ca. This session will be run in small group format. The Starskate ice time will be for those that have completed CanSkate stage 6, contain all levels of StarSkate. It is mandatory for all StarSkates to have a private coach as no group lessons will be offered at this time.
Refunds will not be given if you choose to no longer attend after registering.
Movement to other sessions will only be done at coaches request. Please make sure you choose the right days and times as movement might not be possible if a session has become full.
