Refund Policy - All Programs

The following reasons will be considered for a refund:

• Medical reasons; a doctor's note must be provided
• Moves outside the region will also be considered
• Any other reason will be considered at the discretion of the ASC Executive Member(s)
• All refunds will need final approval before payouts are issued

The SKATE CANADA MANDATORY FEE OF $44.00 and ADMINISTRATION FEE  OF $30.00 ARE NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON.

Full program fee refund:

For Fall/Winter sessions, if a STARSkate/Learn to Skate Skater requests a refund from all  Ajax Skating Club sessions or the entire season before the first day of skating, a full refund will be provided, less the $44.00 Skate Canada Fee and less the $30.00 administration fee.

Refunds prior to October 3, 2021 1pm:

For Fall/Winter sessions, if a STARSkate/Learn to Skate Skater requests a refund from all  Ajax Skating Club sessions or the entire season before         October 3,21 1pm, all program fees  will be prorated.  Refunds will not include either the $44.00 Skate Canada Fee and $30.00 Administration Fee.

Refunds after October 3, 21 1pm:

For Fall/Winter sessions, if a STARSkate/Learn to Skate Skater requests a refund from all  Ajax Skating Club sessions or the entire season after October 3, 21 1pm will only be considered once a refund request form as been received along with a medical note in the club office or via email.  Refunds will be prorated and additional administrative fees may apply.  Refunds will not include either the $44.00 Skate Canada Fee and $30.00 Administration Fee

Refunds will be added to the members account for future use unless a formal request to have refund applied via the same form of payment has been received.

Partial withdrawal from ASC skating sessions:

For Fall/Winter sessions, if a STARSkate/Learn to Skate Skater requests a full refund for one or more session(s) of multiple sessions, but are still skating in other ASC sessions, the refund will be accepted prior to the first day of skating for the session. Refunds will not include either the $44.00 Skate Canada Fee and $30.00 Administration Fee.

For Fall/Winter sessions, if the refund is requested after the first day of skating, the refund will be issued at  the prorated amount. Refunds will not include either the $44.00 Skate Canada Fee and $30.00 Administration Fee.

Spring Session Refunds:

For Spring sessions, if a STARSkate Skater requests a refund for one or more session(s), the refund will be accepted prior to the first day of skating for the session, less an Administration Fee of $15.00 per session.  For Spring sessions, if the refund is requested after the first day of skating, the refund will be deducted both the prorated amount plus the Administration fee of $15.00 per session.

All refunds will be added to the members account for future use.

Refund Requests:

All refund requests must be submitted using the ASC – Refund Request Form.  Refunds will only be considered effective the date the form is processed; there are no backdating requests.

The completed ASC - Refund Request form and supporting documents can be email to office@ajaxskatingclub.ca or hand delivered to the ASC office located at the Ajax Community Centre, 2nd floor,  or mailed to:

Ajax, Ontario,

L1S 4S4.

No refunds or adjustments will be made due to holidays, illness, maintenance repairs, or ice cancellations.  Make up sessions are not available for skaters unavailable to make a skating session.

No refunds will be granted past the mid-point of a season.

All refunds will be added to the members account for future use unless the skater is leaving the Ajax Skating Club, in which case a cheque will be issued and available for pick-up from the Ajax Skating Club Office during office hours.

All transactions are in CDN dollars.
